What is LOCALIZED LAW ENFORCEMENT?
Local Law Enforcement in the State of Georgia should be under the direct control of locally elected officials, who are directly accountable to the local electorate. This means that all municipal, county, and state law enforcement should be fully funded by taxes raised by the respective local or state government, and all training and supervision should be controlled by local or state officials, respectively. Finally, no "defunding of the police" should ever be allowed in the State of Georgia!
As State Representative for House District 49, Michael Gordon will ensure that all legislation needed to implement this localization of law enforcement policy is introduced and promoted vigorously as long as he is in office.
