What is MEDICAL FREEDOM?
WHEREAS The Declaration of Independence authorized the creation of the FREE and INDEPDENDENT State of Georgia, along with the other several united States of America, declaring the following self-evident truths:
- that all men are created equal
- that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights
- that among these [Rights] are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
WHEREAS While Happiness itself is NOT a natural Right, the pursuit of Happiness according to the dictates of ones' conscience so long as the given individual does not infringe upon the same equal Rights of any other individual, is the unalienable Right of each and every individual; and
WHEREAS While Health itself is not a Right, the pursuit of Health, which is the pursuit of Happiness in terms of health, IS each individual' unalienable Right of Medical Freedom - the natural Right of each individual to choose what medical tests, experiments, procedures, therapies, devices, or substances to receive or not receive for their own bodies based on informed consent; and
WHEREAS The Constitution for the United States of America is a compact among the several states, including the sovereign State of Georgia, whereby only a few specifically enumerated powers are delegated to the United States, and whereby the powers not delegated to the United States are reserved to the States or to the people; and
WHEREAS The authority of the State of Georgia is superior to that of the United States regarding any and all powers not specifically delegated to the United States by the US Constitution; and
WHEREAS The power to regulate the medical or healthcare industries was never, and is not now, delegated to the United States; and
WHEREAS Paragraph VII of Section I of Article I of the Georgia Constitution declares that it is the DUTY of the General Assembly to enact such laws as will secure the Rights of the citizens of the State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS the failure for any length of time of the General Assembly to enact laws to secure the Rights of the citizens of the State of Georgia, does NOT under any circumstances, relieve them of their constitutional DUTY to enact such laws; and
WHEREAS as of January of 2024 the General Assembly of the State of Georgia has NOT enacted adequate laws as will secure the Right of Medical Freedom for all individuals in the State of Georgia.
THEREFORE We the People of Georgia need patriotic legislative leaders such as Michael Gordon, who are willing to introduce legislation to secure the Right of Medical Freedom for all Georgians.
